Begin a new!

January 2025

 Every single year after Christmas, the re-do begins. I feel as though taking down all of the bright, beautiful decorations of the holiday season can be somewhat daunting and depressing. Funny how putting them up is fun and exciting…but the take down… no. So to appease my mind…I do mini re-dos. Doesn’t have to be complete redecorating projects but a new piece of furniture or a switch up in wall art is just what the doctor ordered. 

This year I started with the viral arch cabinet from Walmart.com. I searched high and low and read reviews from a multitude of websites and cabinets. This particular cabinet had best reviews and was priced just under $400…can not beat that! Putting it together was not terrible and it was perfect on the small wall by my fireplace! New year ….new cabinet! 

Here’s the before space and the after. 

Added a little whimsical pet art,since they really run this house.  With a little wall sconce and faux pampas, I created a fun little way to help fill up a huge wall. Don’t think my family didn’t giggle a bit!
